[Announcement] Notice of the passing of our former president and change of representative

Dear Sir/Madam

We hope that you are in good health and prosperity. We are pleased to announce that our company president, Masayoshi Miyahara, passed away on February 2, 2025 (at a ripe old age).

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the special kindness shown to us during his lifetime. Thanks to your warm support, Kakumaru Lacquerware Wholesaler and Kiso Lacquerware have been able to continue to thrive to this day. We are sure that the deceased would have been very grateful.

With the passing of the previous president, the representative of Kakumaru Lacquerware Wholesaler changed from Miyahara Masami to Miyahara Koji.

In light of the many years of changes in social conditions and the passing of our predecessor, we are moving to a new business model that is more in line with our means, focusing on small-scale business.
