Company Overview and History

Greetings

To everyone,

We are rooted in the Kiso region and have been involved in "Kiso lacquerware," a tradition that boasts more than 400 years of history. Since our founding in 1932, we have treasured the spirit of "learning from the past for new discoveries," and have striven to pass on the charm of lacquerware to the next generation.

Kiso lacquerware is characterized by its beauty, durability, and the texture that deepens with use. It is loved by many people as a versatile item that can be used for everything from everyday use to special occasions.

While preserving tradition in modern times, we strive to further improve functionality and design, and to convey the charm of Kiso lacquerware to as many people as possible. We consider it our mission to convey this moisture (lacquer) to everyone.

The representative of Kakumaru Lacquerware Wholesaler has changed from Masami Miyahara to Yasuji Miyahara. We are deeply grateful for the support we have received so far, and we will continue to work hard with renewed determination as people involved in the Kiso lacquerware business.

We sincerely hope for your continued patronage.
